Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU) Announces Call for Abstracts for its 2026 Annual Conference in Toronto

International scholars and government experts invited to advance scientific and policy dialogue on UAP research.

TORONTO, CANADA, February 20, 2026 / -- The Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU) proudly announces a Call for Abstracts for its upcoming 9th Annual Conference, to be held July 24–26, 2026, in Toronto, Canada. This year’s theme, “The Role of Science and Global Governments in UAP Research,” will explore the intersection of scientific inquiry and governmental roles in the study of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).

Toronto, Canada’s largest city, is a global center for innovation, aerospace, technology, and academic research. Its strong international outlook and reputation for scientific collaboration make it an ideal setting for the SCU’s 9th Annual Conference.

As governments, scientists, and citizens around the world increasingly acknowledge the importance of transparency and data-driven investigation, this conference provides a critical forum to advance the field with scientific rigor.

“UAP research has reached a decisive turning point, where the growing demand for government transparency and rigorous scientific investigation of their origin and behavior is paramount to global security,” said Robert Powell, SCU Executive Board Member. “With airspace incursions increasing worldwide, the scientific community has the observational tools and expertise to systematically study these phenomena and work towards a comprehensive understanding that guides policy and risk assessment.”
